‍Live music house rules & requirements

We are excited to schedule your gig at Roxx on Main. Here’s some important information for you to help ensure your show is a success:

Roxx on Main is a popular restaurant and live music venue in Martinez. We offer music Friday and Saturday evenings, however our first priority is our restaurant patrons and expect the live music to be tailored for their enjoyment while they dine out.

• Don’t play too loud. People want to enjoy their meal, but also converse during the show. If you play too loud, they may leave and post a negative review of our restaurant. In addition, live music is playing at other venues downtown and everyone needs to accommodate and adjust to playing outdoors together.
• Let your music do most of the talking. Some stage patter is okay, but it’ll mostly get lost in the background.
• Fit your act into the space provided. Please stay within the space provided while performing.
• Stow your instrument cases near the stage area or in your vehicle.
• Be courteous during load-in and load-out/teardown.

‍Marketing Your Show

Roxx on Main promotes our music events, and to promote your gig, please complete our Gig Checklist (click the button below) and return to us no later than 5 days before your event date, if possible.

Our audience may not include all your fans. Boost your attendance and reach out to them. Let your fans know you’re playing at our venue. Seating is limited, so make sure your fans know to call ahead (925-370-7699) to reserve a table. Many bands put up posters or placards around Martinez.

We do not provide a PA or sound person at this time. We will provide a power source for amplified equipment. We also need to plug in our house mic to your amplifier for announcements.

You might want to bring your own ground cover carpet.
